"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." ~ from ISAIAH 61 Bible verse for this Blog

COPA DE ORO - Cup of Gold planted a year ago and now it looks like this.......................>>> WEDNESDAY GREAT DAY WAKE UP AND SMELL THE BLOOMING FLOWERS! IT'S GARBAGE DAY!

HURRY & quickly - Get your "business" done...

Dogs out early and back in before the truck comes...

STOP 5 dogs from SINGING their own version of "TAKE ME OUT TO THE ......ballgame!!!"

so that all the rest in the neighborhood don't pick up the Chorus and carry the tune!

SAME ROUTINE AS MONDAY and FRIDAY and it's such a beautiful Wednesday!!! [See their individual photos, names and meanings on the right side, waaayyyyyy down!!!]

AND HERE's WHERE THE GARBAGE ENDS UP! The Dumpsite, the most wonderful place to work and live just below this area! Many come by early these mornings to go through the "treasures"they may find at each house before pickup time, if the stray dogs and cats have gotten the bags ripped open and spilled all over.

La Viña - the Vineyard Church has a wonderful ministry here, where they prepare sandwiches, fruit and bottled water, to bring up to this dumpsite and minister Jesus' real love! They don't just "talk the talk" THEY "walk the walk" "For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me."

I have been WONDERFULLY blessed to have shared in this ministry! And count it a joy...

Visiting Tourists have the opportunity to participate in this also through the "Other Side of Mazatlan" Tour, from preparing the sandwiches to actually going along and serving!
