First, I want to welcome everyone to our new home!! This blog is devoted to prayer and prayer alone. My review of January 2009

FOCUS: HOPE

"Called to Be Free to Follow Jesus"

was my Bible Reading Guide for the month of January

For February it will be "Called to Be Free to Share God's Love"

My BIBLE READING included readings from the Gospels of Mark primarily, Matthew & John, Psalm 72 and Acts (this is the most recent readings). Acts always inspires me! My prayer concern is for those who offer intercessory prayer for others.

I praise you, Lord God, for the joy that comes from serving you. Help me to be a source of encouragement for others. Strengthen my faith and teach me the discipline of fasting and praying. Amen.

The theme in Psalm 72 is JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUSNESS...the following is what impacts me the most: 

"He will  judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.

 3 The mountains will bring prosperity to the people, 

       the hills the fruit of righteousness.

 4 He will defend the afflicted among the people 

       and save the children of the needy; 

       He will crush the oppressor.

I do not think that I need to say anything more because the message is loud and clear.

WE NEED TO PRAY!

GOD'S WORD NEVER FAILS!

ends in "a" so it's la justicia (the justice) or Su justicia...His Justice

Justice means conforming to the principle or ideal

...And justice for all..
