ISAIAH 61 says:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."

Welcome to ALL!
Counting days filled with God's Blessings! Y'all are one of the BEST!
I have COMMENTS CLOSED now except FRI. and maybe SOS, REACTIONS only see explanation here. However, I miss knowing who was here, so I added this linky also on my BLOGGER PAGE, just put your name for Title
I WAS HERE!
On 1/24 my COMPUTER CRASHED, so I'm unable to SIGN IN to it, it's frozen. I don't know what's wrong or for how long. I try to check what I can from a public cyber but can't do that daily or for hours like I'm use to doing, so I'm very limited in what I can get done. Think God's trying to tell me some thing? I'll be thinking and praying for you! Love y'all, pray and please don't forget me. Hope I can visit soon until then God bless!

COME TO THE WATER

Be sure to stop over and see all the participants
and bless Amy & us with your song to the Lord.
From JESUS flows the RIVER of LIFE
"There is a RIVER whose streams make glad the City of God."
Psalm 46:4
I was very drawn to these lyrics because of the outreach happening right now in Mazatlan during Carnaval but by reading the words, I would never have thought that this is how it would sound.
Some of you may be content just reading the words:
Come to the Water with Chris Tomlin
There’s a war going on just across the street
There’s a rage that’s burning to an angry beat
I can feel the thirst but there’s no relief
We need a river
There’s a sound in the distance like a thunder cloud
Waiting for the rain while the sun beats down
Can you feel it rising from the underground?
We need a river
Oh let justice roll like rivers,
Oh let mercy flow with love, love
Come to the water, come to the water of life
It will never run dry
Come to the water, run to the water of life
It will never run dry
There’s a cry from the child in the factory
There’s a prayer for the prisoners of poverty
Save us from the greed and the apathy
We need a river
There’s a hope like a flood running down our street
We’re an army of peacemakers on our feet
Take us to the place love and mercy meet
There is a river

THIS IS DEFINITELY AN UPBEAT SONG...PRAISE & ROCK!
This song is from the CompassionArt project. If you missed my sharing about this compilation of many outstanding Christian artists & their hearts, please click and go either to my post here or the CompassionArt site (by clicking on their name) with great songs and great purpose of 4 Projects and 12 charities on the hearts of these artists, trying to make a difference.
They really need YOU & your church or ministry to enjoy learning and singing these brand new songs, which will in turn make a difference with the proceeds they eventually generate to "Create Freedom from Poverty"... please do whatever you can against the injustices of poverty.
