Here are the questions for Monday's study from the book above: (since this post is already so long I will share at a later time in a separate post on ELOHIM but each day of the week has something in both of these studies):

Studying the Name

1. "Genesis" is a word that can mean "birth," "history of origin," or "genealogy." What can you observe about who God is from this passage about beginnings? (GENESIS 1)
2. What can you observe about the world He has made?
3. What do you think it means to be created in "the image ofGod"? How would your life change if you lived with the constant awareness that He created you to bear His image?
4. God seems delighted by what He has made, proclaiming it good and even very good. How does God's assessment of creation shape your own attitude toward the world? Toward yourself?

ADONAI should be the Name of God that Jenifer shares today but ya' never know. And I think if Jill is following the book, she will be starting with ELOHIM.

MY PRAYER:

ADONAI ... I come to You willing to surrender every aspect of my life to You. I ask You to give me the grace to become the kind of servant who is quick to do Your will; quick to see, quick to hear and quick to understand when You are speaking, when You are GUIDING me to do and obey Your will.

"Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" words I know oh so well but have not done oh so well.

You, oh LORD Adonai are the only One, who can empower me to do Your will and fulfill Your purpose in this humble life that You have given me. I bow down to You, Most High and blessed LORD. You are my strength when I am weak and that is often true more and more. I want to know You as My LORD Adonai and then I know I will serve You as Your Son Jesus served us and as I vowed to You long ago (in sixth grade). Do You remember my words? I do and they are still the cry of my heart. I surrendered to You then and I do once again as my Sovereign LORD each day... I will surrender my will and follow Your will, I pray.

Thank You for giving me a better understanding of WHO YOU ARE each day.

Thank You for Jenifer and Jill, and their hearts for You; and women (others) to know You. I ask for a fresh anointing poured out upon them as they teach us and lead us in knowing You and praying in Your Name ... in Jesus Precious Name...
