Whether they are fact or fiction, stories have the potential to stir our emotions, provoke our thinking and influence the course of our lives. “Letters to God” the movie, is a faith-based film about a young boy fighting cancer who finds strength and hope through writing letters to God. Those letters inspire hope and change in family, friends and an entire community. The mission of Possibility Pictures, in partnership with the Great Commandment Network, is to equip churches and their leaders to become Communities of Hope. Your church can really be instrumental in sharing HOPE and you can help encourage this MISSION of HOPE.

This was my plan when I started this post but then I found out their site has this available. I'd like you to join me and write a letter to God on whatever you'd like: ask God a tough question, tell Him about something very special or important that is weighing on your heart, or if you just want to tell Him about a good part of your day or life.

This reminded me of that song, "Dear Mr. Jesus..." when a child was concerned about abuse (1985).

Way back in 2005, someone started a website Letter to God that has more than 9000 written. People are searching, are we reaching them? You know you hold the answers.

I hope to move this forward on top of each post I have left so it's right here for you all to share your heart, I hope that you'll consider writing a "Letter to God". You don't even need a postage stamp... it's a direct email... we call it PRAYER.

I won't be sharing any of my "letters" until later perhaps ... I've been writing so many... (it's good therapy, ya' know?)
