ISAIAH 61 says:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."

Welcome to ALL!

I WAS HERE!
On 1/24 my COMPUTER CRASHED, so I'm unable to SIGN IN to it, it's frozen. I don't know what's wrong or for how long. I try to check what I can from a public cyber but can't do that daily or for hours like I'm use to doing, so I'm very limited in what I can get done. Think God's trying to tell me some thing? I'll be thinking and praying for you! Love y'all, pray and please don't forget me. Hope I can visit soon until then God bless!

MY FATHER'S HEART

"The trouble with nearly everybody who prays is that they say “Amen” and run away before God has a chance to reply. Listening to God is far more important than giving Him your ideas." ~ Frank Laubach
Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. 2 Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. 3 Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, 5 praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.

I should have shared this last Sunday, on Father's Day...
I have been reflecting & praying all this week
...to Our Heavenly Father
who I honor with this song as my prayer!
I had shared this on my blog back
when I started in 2008 but that video is no longer available,
so in case that happens with this one

Here are the words:
My Father's Heart ~ Rachael Lampa
Let everything that breathes
Praise You
The earth, the sky, the sea
Praise You
Just as nature shows to us
Your blessing
Soon I find my heart
Confessing
Chorus:
My love is not my own
It all belongs to You
And after all You've done
the least that I can do
Is live my life
In every part
Only to please my Father's heart
Verse 2:
Love is all You need
To heal us
Flowing from the heavens, Jesus
And with one voice we'll sing
Together
And this will be our song
Forever
(Chorus)(Instrumental Bridge)(Chorus)
MAY YOU
ENJOY
A
SPIRITUAL SUNDAY
with Charlotte and Ginger
singing birds
and of course
THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAY
with
Amy at Signs, Miracles & Wonders
and
EACH ONE of the GREAT PARTICIPANTS!
LINK UP or JUST ENJOY and
BE BLESSED
AS YOU ENTER into WORSHIP
MAY OUR HEARTS and ALL THAT IS WITHIN US
PRAISE HIM
and
LIVE OUR LIVES
to please
ONLY OUR FATHER'S HEART
Heavenly Father... as I come before You, each day in prayer, and worship You alone, may I linger long enough to hear You, to listen to Your reply, to give You a chance to speak to my spirit, resonate in my heart and live through me throughout each day. As I pause and listen to You, may my ears remain attentive all day long as You whisper sweetly to me, calling me back to spend time with You... in each activity, may You be in the center and may my thoughts, words and actions reflect someone so in love with the LORD that I pour forth more of You and less of me. May my flesh surrender to You and I commit living a life fully under Your control, guidance, wisdom, and flow in Your Spirit and fruit so others will know how Great You are...the great I AM... the Alpha and Omega... the Living Word & Water of my soul, I thirst and hunger for more of You in me... abundantly... in Your aMazing Grace and Love... that's why WORSHIP is a WAY! Happy Father's Day (belated) but wished every day that You be happy in all You are accomplishing in me and through me... as I walk ever so closely with my hand in Yours... trusting and believing... in Jesus' beloved Name...
ADDED NOTE: the initial quote struck me and others so I wanted to share a bit of who is Frank Laubach:
Dr. Frank C. Laubach (1884-1970) was a Christian Evangelical missionary and mystic known as "The Apostle to the Illiterates." In 1935, while working at a remote location in the Philippines, he developed the "Each One Teach One" literacy program, which has been used to teach about 60 million people to read in their own language. He was deeply concerned about poverty, injustice and illiteracy, and considered them a barrier to peace in the world. In 1955, he founded Laubach Literacy and Mission Fund, now called Laubach Literacy. During his latter years of his life, traveled all over the world speaking on topics of literacy and world peace. He was author of a number of devotional writings and works on literacy.
