Part I (Letting Go)

Back in December (the week of the 6th, as I grieved heavily), I came upon this book and these videos, feeling strongly that God was speaking this to me, not just as regards my grief for the year of 2010 and the sense of loss, but for all of my life... so I'm prematurely choosing this as my theme for this year 2011.

Sheila Walsh's song "LET GO" will be my theme song for 2011 as I press in to Beth Moore's study on "BREAKING FREE" and perhaps also Sheila's book:

I guess I'm a couple of years behind. This looks like it has been a theme of "Women of Faith" back in 2009 when Sheila was releasing her book probably, and many of us are in that place of "letting go". 

If you have anything at all, that you need to LET GO of... will you join me this year and let's "LET GO" together of any thing that is holding us back from advancing forward in the Kingdom of God, either personally or in our ministry or purpose to pursue God, His plan, His purpose, His mission, His message written on our hearts and in our lives... LET'S DO THIS GOD'S WAY...  LAY it down, ADMIT our need, our weakness, our problem, YIELD to God... and

Part II (concluding remarks)

I ended this year with my own advent series that God spoke into my heart during my Bible Reading time during November when I was searching for "something" special to do  as I prepared to LET GO and make this year's CHRISTmas a BIRTH experience for me.


I was not prepared to write on the topic He inspired for me to focus on at all. I believe it takes much more time to prepare well for what I felt led to share. At times, I had nothing to share as I started to type and each time the Holy Spirit gave me some thing.
Nothing really spectacular for the reader, but personally, it was very valuable as God spoke to my heart about each WOMAN of WORTH. 


By doing this, in obedience to following His prompt, God was starting a healing process in me and confirming the mission that He spoke to me about the city I live in Mexico, about the women and children here.  With each woman from the Bible that I shared; God personalized it for me ~ much for than my mere words shared. As this year ends, I would be amiss, if I did not speak to each of you that may be reading this and need to realize that you are a highly cherished and valuable person. God, the Father sees so much WORTH in you!!! Our Lord was healing me as He walked me through the BIRTHing process with each woman that I shared, He was doing a new BIRTH in me. He was transforming me as I read and focused on each of these and my own life.


He saw enough WORTH to send His Son Jesus to be born into our world and die for us.
Jesus thought enough of you to give His very life for you! There is no higher WORTH!
HE IS WORTHY of all our thanks and praise! Worthy is the Lamb of God, who sees you as valuable as a diamond in the rough (or whatever gem you choose). For me, it's a PEARL (one of the significance of my name or derivative, I think that's where Peggy is connecting to my real name too). I recently heard a wonderful message on the PEARL
that spoke to me deeply. (Develop Your Pearl Dec. 12th). 


One of the new points I learned is that a "pearl" is developed out of an "irritation" to the oyster. So all my "irritations" are just culturing me as a beautiful pearl as I learn from the lessons and grow in my worth. Pearls are expensive. Pearls are BIRTHED out of something uncomfortable. Every irritation in our lives is designed to become a pearl in us. I will shine beautifully polished one day and so will you as we are refined by God. Put yourself in His hands and allow Him to change you from the inside out because HE already sees you to be of great WORTH! 


Just like each WOMAN of WORTH I shared, showed me that even a barren women, a harlot, a widow, a poor woman in love , a young obedient woman, were each chosen to be in the lineage of Jesus... so are we part of that family and of WORTH by His Grace.


As we LET GO of 2010, and every "irritation" may we MOVE FORWARD into 2011 as people of WORTH and BREAK FREE from whatever irritation, hindrance, obstacle, unhealthy habits, hurts or hang ups that are keeping us from being ALL He created us to be. God knows there's a pearl in you waiting to be formed. (sorry this became another whole post as I bid farewell to 2010 and welcome 2011, I'm thinking and praying for you that you and I will see our value in Christ and our WORTH and I just had to share... 


"...Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, ²¹ to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
