My WFW comes from a wonderful email Bible Study devotional, by Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, for this week, Joyful Heart Renewal Ministries,JesusWalk® Publicationsthat I highly recommend any of his online studies, but this one is so wonderful for Holy Week. First I did the initial WFW last week and then on Fri., I found his daily study on each one as I searched for images/pictures to go with them.
Though I enjoy so much each of the full teachings ofDr. Ralph F. Wilsonand the personal reflection each study offers, I just had to share what he wrote on "IT IS FINISHED" (6) about WHAT WE SHOULD LEARN for our lives, because they line up so well with my MISSION blog:
1. WE ARE TO LIVE LIVES OF PURPOSE
2. WE ARE TO LIVE LIVES OF FOCUS
3. WE ARE TO LIVE LIVES OF OBEDIENCE
4. WE MUST BE WILLING TO SUFFER TO ACHIEVE GOD'S PURPOSE

Why am I such a dusty window
For your light to shine through?
Why am I just a tiny star
In a sky already blue?
Why do I offer everything
With my heart closed like a fist?
I want to love You better than this
Why do I live like I'm in chains
When You have set me free?
And why do I have to break Your heart
Before I fall to my knees?
I know it's time to pray for change
Give all I have to give
I want to love You better than this

So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me
I need Your power to renew me, Lord, yeah
I need to know You're moving through me, Lord
I need You as my refuge
My first and last resort
Be the river always running
Through my deepest thoughts
Keep me in Your arms
'Cause even when I drift
I want to love You better than this
So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me
My life bending to Your will
Seeking You until I'm more and more like You

RENEW ME, O LORD
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,
I'm continuing in a study that Jill @Forever n Ever n Alwaysis doing on "Praying the Names of God" from the book by Ann Spangler.
The book is set up so that each day, Monday through Friday, you focus on the NAME of GOD! Each Monday; Ann shares GOD REVEALS HIS NAME, to help us get an understanding and study the Name through questions.
Each Tues., Weds., Thurs., is PRAYING THE NAME which leads us through ACTS: Reflecting on a scripture (with the Name, of course):
Adore God; Confess; Offer Thanks and then Ask God to Supply Something Specific.
Then on Fri. sharing God's Promises associated with HIS NAME and how to continue in Prayer and Praise with other scriptures over the weekend.
The Name of God for this week:Yahweh Yireh or more commonly known by me as Jehovah Jireh, Our Provider

KEY SCRIPTURE this week:
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.” (Genesis 22:13–14)
The Hebrew word raah (RA-ah, from which yireh is derived) means “to see.” In this case, it is translated as “provide.” Since God sees the future as well as the past and the present, he is able to anticipate and provide for what is needed. Interestingly the English word “provision” is made up of two Latin words that mean “to see beforehand.” When you pray to Yahweh Yireh, you are praying to the God who sees the situation beforehand and is able to provide for your needs.
Ann's prayer:
Yahweh Yireh, the Lord who provides for me, thank You for all Your blessings—for forgiveness and faith, purpose and hope, food and shelter, family and friends, strength and wisdom, rest and work, laughter and light.Your blessings never come to an end because You are a God of infinite grace. Amen.
Ann focuses this week while "Praying the Names of God" on Jehovah Jireh/ Yahweh Yireh: Genesis 22:1–14 (Tues.) Genesis 22:9–12 (Weds.) Genesis 22:15–18 (Thurs.)
Promises in Scripture:
For in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you, if only you fully obey the LORD your God and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today. (Deuteronomy 15:4–5)
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1 Corinthians 10:12–13)
Continued Prayer and Praise
Reflect on God’s provision for your life. (Matthew 6:28–30)
Pray for the grace to reflect God’s generosity by generously providing for others. (1 Timothy 6:17–19)
Strong's Reference:3070 However, Jehovah Jireh (Yahweh Yireh) only used the one time in the Key Scripture, means "The Lord will see, The Lord will provide. The Lord will be seen."
This is the only post I will be sharing on Jehovah Jireh; Yahweh Yireh, though I am ever so THANKFUL for the many PROVISIONS He has given me, throughout my life. He never ceases to amaze me each and every day in how He provides for the most simple to the most profound.
The one that stands out the most in my life is when HE provided two children, almost three for me to adopt, which was DIVINE PROVIDENCE! This was 7 years into my marriage and though I was blessed to be a foster mom to 13 different teens, starting out with teen moms... this was specially arranged.
The children were the children of my husband's niece, so they could not have been more closely chosen and perfectly a blessing. First was our son... then within the next year, he returned to his biological mom but shortly thereafter, was given back to us and his siblings also became available. We became temporary custodians of him and then his sister, but his brother had been placed in a home that wanted to adopt him. I went from being a "mom" of no kids to a "mom of 2" at the age of 3 but we did not adopt until 2 years later after their biological mom resigned her rights as their parent because she knew they would be well cared for and she would be able to remain part of their lives. This was a MIRACLE in my life!!! and definitley showed me how God (El Roi) sees me and knows me. He created these beautiful children (Elohim) then provided (Jehovah Jireh) the right to call them "my children" temporarily but forever HIS, adopted into His family. Thank You, Jehovah Jireh!
And of course, when Yahweh Yireh, provided His Son, as the sacrificial Lamb of God, which we commemorate this week, just like Abraham when he was willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac.
Because of this I am sharing mostly music this week, as I spend time focusing on my Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! I am so thankful for Jesus and the price He paid for "me and my household" that they may know Him for all eternity. I await the completion of His promises as HE continues to PROVIDE!
