Lord, I often say I stand on the PROMISES of God's Word! Almost just as often, I have promised You to change, to follow You, to obey You, to live for You, to shine in the darkness of this world Your light, to make a difference, to stop doing "it" my way but Your way, to serve You better, to know You more but Lord, we both know that my promises do not stand the test of time, as Yours do and have.

I have failed so often to keep those promises made in prayer or spoken at the altar or in times of great need. I'm so sorry but I know I'm learning hopefully I'll get it right soon. Yet You, O Lord have so many PROMISES in Your Word that I believe and I confess as Truth and these promises are lasting. Help me Lord Jesus to make my promises as solid as Yours. Teach me. Strengthen me. I'm so very thankful I can trust in You, Your Word, and Your Promise. Thank You for Your Promises! I seek to grow deeper and may my promises of love grow & deepen each day. May my promises be fulfilled and each one be as steadfast and true as Yours to us. My love for You increases as I marvel at Your Promises and how You kept each one and completed them in LOVE. Thank You for loving me so much!

You are my love! You are the reason for my future. You have given me a future and a plan for that future. You are the reason for my hope. You are restoring my hope that was broken and drying up. I will continue to wait on You. I will continue to rest in You. I will continue to trust in You. I will rise up each day and declare that You are Lord of my life and I surrender daily all that is not of You. Please hold me up and do not let me falter or surrender what I have found in You. When the battle comes at me, I will be strengthen for You are my Strong Tower and in You, I find strength. I will not allow the weariness or the evil to overwhelm me. May I be found in Christ Jesus and closer to Him than ever before as I press on. Be glorified in me!
