This is quite a different
TUNE 4 TUESDAY!
I remember listening to this song by the Police and enjoying it back in the 80s but as I watched this drama unfold and listened once again to the words of this song... well, I saw it with a new perspective... "every claim you stake..." "every move..." "every breath..."
1 Peter 2:24
The Message (MSG)
21-25This is the kind of life you've been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step.
He never did one thing wrong,
Not once said anything amiss.
They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you're named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls.

What 'ribbon' do you need to let go of today, this week, daily...
or
which one is keeping you from being all God wants for you?
Oh Lord, Thank You so much! You bore my sins in Your body upon that tree so that I might die to sin and live for righteousness. Forgive me dear Jesus! You suffered in silence. You went, paid and stayed out of obedience. You paid the penalty, the ransom for me. Your wounds became my healing. Help me to daily make healthy choices and remember what I cost You. Praise You Jesus for the life You lived and the steps You showed me to live Your way and extending the invitation to me. You are the breathe I take. I do belong to You. Help me to live intentionally mindful of the claim You stake, and every move I make... may it be in Your Spirit, by Your Spirit and through Your amazing grace! I'm so glad that I'm forgiven and You are watching me! Thank You so much for claiming me and staking Your life in payment for my sins.
