As of TODAY,
I have decided to change SUPER SUNDAY (SONDAY)
to S.O.S.
SOAKING ON SONDAY
(only the name not the game, all else is the same)
(only the name not the game, all else is the same)
because that's what I'd like us to do
SOAK in the Scene, Scripture, and/or Song
SOAK in the Scene, Scripture, and/or Song
but mostly in the SON and His Presence
(don't worry about changing your blog posts today)
I hope to do more
On
Cindy Cruse Ratcliff (for lyrics)
I have always been able to relate to this woman in the Bible and love this song so much. When I heard it song by Cindy last Sunday at Lakewood Church online... I just had to share it then when Sharon shared her WORD Fri. for "Fan the Flame", I knew that this was meant to be...
"For years I identified with these accounts on the surface level of the infinite grace of God and how beautiful it was that Mary wept at his feet, never comprehending the breadth of the alabaster jar itself, until I got the revelation."
I rearranged my Sunday posts to share this powerful song, as I start out on Monday with my GriefShare "Journey from Mourning to Joy" and also I believe it goes well with another great study being done online from Wendy Blight's book "Hidden Joy..." over at Melissa Taylor's with over 3000 signed up for this online study of Hidden JOY!
Matthew 26:7
Luke 7:37
Mark 14:3
John 11:13
What's in your alabaster box?
sharing a
scene, song or scripture
(or any combination)
just keep it simple!

It's very interesting to me that my post for today's Bible Pick 'Ems was from Luke - the story of the widow who gave up everything she had (two mites) in love for the Lord.
ReplyDeleteI see that the Holy Spirit had you and I *on the same page* today! It's one thing to give Jesus everything we have - and that is noble and demonstrates sacrificial love indeed. But, He also wants us to give Him everything we ARE.
What's in my alabaster box? My heart - and that's the greatest gift I can give Him.
GOD BLESS!
(I'll be joining you for GriefShare - be looking for me. If I don't get there on the actual day of your post, I'll be back for catch-up!!)
You are a beautiful blessing to my heart, love you.
