He counts the stars and assigns each a name.
Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we'll never comprehend
what he knows and does.
God puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch.

Since I am in the 2nd week of GriefShare's "Journey from Mourning to Joy" study, this VERSE is the one I'm clinging to this week for each one facing a loss that God wants to heal you from... When I saw this image from VersaDay, I decided to use this as my WFW because there is something so powerful in a waterfall and to have that arched bridge before it, is very spiritually symbolic... May His Healing Living Water pour over you and bridge the gap from your pain to His peace and JOY...
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.(NIV)

Love this, Peggy. We have experienced first hand the healing touch of Jehovah Rapha with my husband's cancer and later a pulmonary embolism.
ReplyDeleteSuch an encouraging post!

This was beautiful, Peggy. I really liked the verses - sometimes The Message really brings it home. This is what stuck out in my mind - just this one phrase:
ReplyDelete"God's the one..." That one phrase can begin any sentence that has anything to do with life. HE'S the One who does it all...
What a comforting prayer...may God be quick in His comfort.
GOD BLESS!
