ISAIAH 61 says:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."

Welcome to ALL!
No, it's not Christmas in Mexico still
I'm just counting God's Blessings every day!
Y'all are one of the BEST for me!
I like watching snowflakes fall like the stars YOU are in my life
I have COMMENTS CLOSED now, except FRI. and my SECRET GARDEN maybe SOS, but REACTIONS are available instead, see explanation here kinda. I still miss knowing who was here, so I added this linky, on my BLOGGER PAGE also. Just put your name instead of any "Title" to let me know who has passed by and can say:
I WAS HERE!
Here's why: On 1/24 my COMPUTER CRASHED, so I'm unable to SIGN IN to it, it's frozen. I don't know what's wrong or for how long. I try to check what I can from a public cyber but can't do that daily or for hours like I'm use to doing, so I'm very limited in what I can get done. Think God's trying to tell me some thing? Less time online? I'm sure I'll need a new computer rather than repair this here but don't see that happening here in these next 2 yrs. before I'm back home in USA. I'll be thinking and praying for you! Love y'all, pray and please don't forget me. God bless!

THE GLORY OF CHRISTMAS

Hallelujah!
HE IS BORN!

Image001
Luke 1:31
Luke 2
The Birth of Jesus
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

* If you have never made Jesus, Lord of your life as your Savior, and receive the BEST GIFT that keeps on giving, or had at some point in your life but have walked away, grown cold or given up on believing in the God of your salvation, it'd be my honor to pray with you, or link you to two great places to know Jesus Christ and simple steps for you to take to start fresh again:
Proverbs 31 Women's Ministries or Peace with God (Billy Graham Evangelical Association)... it isn't about joining any church or organization(though that's important, too), it's about having a relationship and eternal life. May God be with you this Christmas and forever and ever...

    Christmas Day Prayer

Father, we come to celebrate the Gift that You sent to us; the birth of Jesus, Emanuel, God with us. We pray that future generations will remember the sacred purpose of this celebration, and follow in our footsteps as we follow You. Jesus, we acknowledge that You are the Word that became flesh and lived among us. You are full of grace and truth, and from You we receive one gift after another. I give You all that I have - I give You myself - spirit, soul and body, and pray that future generations will walk in truth. Amen.
    John 1:1, 14-16

  4. I trust that you had a good Christmas, Peggy. I love that on this very special BIRTHday, you pointed everyone to the real reason for the season - dear Jesus.

And there is no better way to meet Him, to know Him more and more intimately than to read the words of the Bible. It is God's story of Love.

    We are so blessed.

    GOD BLESS!
