Psalm 119: 114, 116 You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in Your word. Sustain me, my God, according to Your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed. |
"Morning Glory Cottage" clearly is a quaint cottage resting comfortably in a garden of flowers. Some, of course, are the beautiful Morning Glories that lift their faces to give Him praise in the morning... as we should to the One who gave to us all... brings this Bible verse to mind from the prophet Isaiah...
"Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard." Isaiah 58:8 Amplified Bible

ReplyDeleteAnd I enjoy you and sharing this song with you! Together... May Jesus' Light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard....AMEN!
DeleteI love this title for God: The Lifter of My Head
ReplyDeleteIsn't that neat?!
This old crummy world does its best to dash our hopes. It can be a discouraging place, huh? Remember that old (cynical) saying, "The light at the end of the tunnel is probably a train!" Well, with the Lord on our side, that light at the end of the tunnel - and the light IN the tunnel - is the Light of the World HIMSELF!!
He is my Glory in the Morning!
GOD BLESS!
A very beautiful post and song, Peggy, thank you. Love you ~
ReplyDeleteAmen. He is our refuge and our shield.
ReplyDeleteUmm, yes...soaking in the Son on Friday this time...loved this, Peggy!
