ISAIAH 61 says:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."

Welcome to ALL!
No, it's not Christmas in Mexico still
I'm just counting God's Blessings every day!
Y'all are one of the BEST for me!
I like watching snowflakes fall like the stars YOU are in my life
I have COMMENTS CLOSED now, except FRI. and my SECRET GARDEN maybe SOS, but REACTIONS are available instead, see explanation here kinda. I still miss knowing who was here, so I added this linky, on my BLOGGER PAGE also. Just put your name instead of any "Title" to let me know who has passed by and can say:
I WAS HERE!
Here's why: On 1/24 my COMPUTER CRASHED, so I'm unable to SIGN IN to it, it's frozen. I don't know what's wrong or for how long. I try to check what I can from a public cyber but can't do that daily or for hours like I'm use to doing, so I'm very limited in what I can get done. Think God's trying to tell me some thing? Less time online? I'm sure I'll need a new computer rather than repair this here but don't see that happening here in these next 2 yrs. before I'm back home in USA. I'll be thinking and praying for you! Love y'all, pray and please don't forget me. God bless!

FAITH FOCUS FRIDAY FEATURE

Every Friday I FOCUS my FAITH with claiming a Promise from 365 promises and PRAYing with others FEARLESSLY for the needs of others. There is nothing better than a day filled by His Holy Spirit, praying, interceding and building our faith through God's Word as we claim His Promises to us. I truly believe that turning His Word into prayer is the best way to do this.

This Week's FAITH PROMISES are from #43-#49:

Psalm 61:3Isaiah 64:41 Corinthians 13:8Psalm 23:1John 10:29Psalm 147:3Matthew 5:4

[to check on all these promises, you can see them all here]

Just as a reminder to me,
I have chosen
Matthew 5:4
Promise #49
(though once again each day as I read the Promises, I thought "this is the one for me", then the mist drew me into realizing the profound truth I have found in this Promise and this Word).

I love the BE ATTITUDES anyways!

BE COMFORTED
in times of mourning
and
grief
PUT ON THE GARMENT OF PRAISE
for a spirit of heaviness
and take off
despair,
being
sad
or

without
HOPE
for our hope is in
JESUS CHRIST
not in ourselves
or in others
JUST HIM
ALONE
+

Now it's your turn to choose one of this week's Promises of God *from the above choices; share here in the comments or on your blog if you'd like to share more to keep you focused. Please add your link here in the comments.

Let us know which one you choose and if you have it on your blog - your link. Visit 365promises site for their daily devotion and these Promises of God with beautiful photography and encouragement!

Which Promise of God do you choose?

Psalm 61:3Isaiah 64:41 Corinthians 13:8Psalm 23:1John 10:29Psalm 147:3Matthew 5:4

Father, Whatever Promise we choose for this week, You are in each one. For You are Our Refuge, Our Rock, Our Strong Tower against all foes. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for You! And we shall wait and trust in You. Your love never fails. You are our Good Shepherd, we want for nothing. You provide and Your rod and Your staff give me comfort and guidance, knowing You are with me in everything.  And no one can snatch me out of Your hand. Great are You, O Most Holy and Loving Abba. We know and rely on Your love. You are love. You heal the broken hearted and bind up all our wounds and bring us Your Comfort! Thank You. You are greater than all and greatly to be praised and exalted for who and all You are! Hallelujah! Glory to You and all Praise to the precious name of Jesus now and forever.

  5. I have to choose Psalm 23:1.

At this particular time in my life, with a large decision to make, I am greatly comforted and encouraged by the fact that I have a Good Shepherd who will faithfully lead me!

Indeed, I shall not be in want.

Not in want of direction, or guidance, or understanding, or discernment, or wisdom. Not in want of His peace or His presence. Not in want of His love.

I am one blessed little sheep!!

    GOD BLESS!

I miss you so much, Peggy - hope you're doing well. Sent you an email. Read it when you get a chance! Love you.
