Every Friday I FOCUS my FAITH with claiming a Promise from 365 promises and PRAYing with others FEARLESSLY for the needs of others. There is nothing better than a day filled by His Holy Spirit, praying, interceding and building our faith through God's Word as we claim His Promises to us. I chose the same verse, Peggy, Hebrews 11:6. I did not blog this. Father, I so want to have the kind of faith you so deserve. You have proved Yourself to me countless times. I don't want surgery again but if that is what I have to do I know in my heart, You will be with me. I firmly believe You can heal my body so I place myself in Your strong hands and trust You to carry me through to finish the plan You chose for me when I was born, in the name of Jesus. I love You so much and thank You for everything You have done in my life and my body. So, with heart, soul, mind and body I am in Your lovingly arms and hands. Amen.

Healing in Jesus name by His Mighty power of His Spirit and in His name by His blood... may it be released and flow from the top of your head right down your spine. Taking away any pain or problem for the glory of God once again. Hallelujah!

Alice is pleasing in God's sight as she earnestly seeks Him and a response to her many prayers for wisdom and guidance and healing. Alice believes in God! Alice believes God! We ask according to God's will and stand in the authority of Jesus' Christ for His best plan for Alice. Thank You Lord!

DeleteYou can choose any you'd like but both of the ones you mentioned are from 1 John (just different chapters).
And we Cathy, have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and we that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in us. (KJV)You,me, Denise, Alice, Karen, Sharon ... and hopefully many more.
And this is the confidence that Cathy has in Him, that, if Cathy asks any thing according to His will, He heareth her: And if Cathy knows that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) just for you but I was not sure if you use NKJV or just KJV.
Nonetheless, this is a wonderful promise that we can stand together for S. and believe and claim. He does hear you, Cathy.
I must have been here at the cyber about the same time you were visiting as I fixed my SOS but remember it's 2 hrs. earlier here. They're closed on Sun. but it was so good to see you here and such a great song you chose to go with the "Winter Light" theme of SOS, though it did not have to be, I can't wait to hear it later this week. Thanks so much Cathy! It's just not the same without you all in my daily life. I miss you too!

I am picking Psalm 9:10. I find tremendous encouragement in the SURE fact that I know God, I trust Him - and that He is EVER faithful. He will never forsake me, nor will He leave me to muddle around in my own thoughts and understanding. He rewards those who seek Him - and He will guide those who turn to Him for wisdom.
