Every Friday I FOCUS my FAITH with claiming a Promise from 365 promises and PRAYing with others FEARLESSLY for the needs of others. There is nothing better than a day filled by His Holy Spirit, praying, interceding and building our faith through God's Word as we claim His Promises to us. I truly believe that turning His Word into prayer is the best way to do this.
This Week's FAITH PROMISES are from:
This Week's FAITH PROMISES are from:
| 1 Peter 5:4; Matthew 13:43; Joshua 23:1 |
| Psalms 103:19; Isaiah 46:10; Jeremiah 1:5; Colossians 1:21-22 |
Aren't these glorious promises?
This, once again, was/is a difficult choice between these promises. So, I'm choosing 2 out of the 7; one from the New testament and one from the Old Testament, one from the end of January and one from the beginning of Feb. They all seem to go so well together ... of course, they do, they are God's Word and Promises written to each of us, His Word given in the Bible to give us hope and build our faith. I chose these two because they go with my WORD for 2012:Light.
Promise #30
Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear. |
Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.' |

Praise God for all of His promises.
ReplyDeleteThanks for those lovely promises, Peggy. I love the one you chose too about the righteous shining like the sun. :) I surely do miss you. Praying you will feel better soon. Love you ~
ReplyDelete"You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, yet now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault." Col 1:21-22 NLT
ReplyDeleteAmen! What a precious promise!
I picked Psalm 103:19.
ReplyDeletePOWERFUL!
The Lord HAS established His throne in heaven. Amen to that. We were studying Revelation 4 and 5 in church this morning. I was thrilled to hear the account of John's vision of the throne of God, and of all creation worshiping Him. Thrilling!
It does my heart SO much good to know that God is in control - even when, especially when I don't understand everything that's going on!
He still rules.
YAY!
GOD BLESS!
