Every Friday I FOCUS my FAITH with claiming a Promise from 365 promises and PRAYing with others FEARLESSLY for the needs of others. There is nothing better than a day filled by His Holy Spirit, praying, interceding and building our faith through God's Word as we claim His Promises to us. I truly believe that turning His Word into prayer is the best way to do this.

| PROMISE # "I have blotted out your sins and dissolved them like the mist." Isaiah 44:22 "I have sealed you with My Spirit to guarantee your coming inheritance." Ephesians 1:13-14 "I will be a real Father to you." "I will look after you and teach you the way that is best."Psalm 32:8 "Trust in Me with all your heart and I will guide you." Promise #39; Psalm 32:8! I need His constant instruction, guidance, counsel and protection!
And for everyone else I pray 2 Thessalonians 3:16
"Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you."
Peace and I'm still so thankful for Promise 36 & 37 & 42!
And as always holding on to #40 more than ever:Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Grateful that our REAL Father calls us His own; children of the Most High as we place our trust in Him!(#38)

I choose Proverbs 3:5-6. I did not blog this. FatherI am trusting in You to guide me and show me what I am supposed to be doing. Amen.
ReplyDeleteI choose Ps 32:8 too, Peggy. I need for God to watch over me and counsel me. Thank you, Lord.
ReplyDeleteI picked Psalm 32:8 - for reasons I think you will understand! I am claiming this promise, knowing that God WILL lead me in the very best paths. He is with me, He will guide me - He LOVES me.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know His hand is on my every step - He planned them before I was born!
Interesting sidenote - I have always loved those verses from Proverbs, too. When my sons were in high school, we had the chance to do a dedication page full of photos for their yearbooks. I did that for both of them, and I included these verses from Proverbs. Just found out this morning that these are the Church Verses for our church for the coming year! I love it!
GOD BLESS!
I loved your closing prayer, but especially the words for your son...praying for that "one day" to come...full of reconciliation...
ReplyDeleteI chose 2 Thessalonians 3:16 in the AMP version:
"Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace (the peace of His kingdom) at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all."
Whatever comes...we have His peace...
