WELCOME

Yes, I do realize it's the end of February even though I still have my Magi with the "Star of Bethlehem" background (but I really do have a reason for my 'blue' and Magi too) I do MISS you!!! and I probably still have my Christmas countdown dropping snowflakes, tho' I'm really not counting them but the many blessings each one brings of purity and individuality to my days like a drop of JOY and LIGHT from heaven. As I'm hoping to shine the Light of Jesus brighter in 2012 just like the Star of Bethlehem to lead others to Jesus ...(since my WORD for 2012 is LIGHT) I may be leaving this as it is all year without changes (so regretfully you may have to just get use to it as it is) because as you know each SOS I will be continuing to focus on LIGHT through the paintings of Thomas Kinkade, known as the Painter of Light ... my way of sharing his creative LIGHT in paintings and God's LIGHT in His Word.
[I suggest you click play and continue reading unless you'd like to sing along]
I pray that whatever burden(s) you are carrying this day or season in your life, that Our Lord will make them LIGHT as you call on Him to Light your way,He'll lighten the load if you would just lay it down and give it to Him; He's carried so much more, won't you trust Him with this?

Since I heard the PA groundhog saw his shadow on Feb.2, some of you have 6 more weeks of winter (almost over by now) so I thought I'd close this month with a collage I made with some of Mr. Kinkade's winter scene paintings before I begin the next section from "Passages of Light", the Light of Life. I can't say I miss the cold of winter, but I do miss the beauty of fresh fallen snow... although I've heard this winter was mild. I do pray you are all warm and well.
With the end of winter approaching, new life will soon be springing up... Delight in these 7 winter scenes which show God's Light reflected off the snow rather than the dismal, dreary, cold days, try focusing on the beauty of this season and what's to COME... Let Jesus' LIGHT warm your heart and shine brightly on you as you grow closer to Him

I am blessed by you, always. I love, and miss you.
ReplyDeleteI love the instrumental. It's on my playlist. I'll have to put it on my Youtube.
ReplyDeleteI first chose the last one but then I also liked the one above it. I like anythng painted by Thomas Kinkade. My OD gave me a puzzel last year with one of his scences. I put glue all over it and hope someday to get it framed. I just happened to look to my right and there beside my computer is an empty space where I coud hang it. Thank you Father with that little surprize. There are pictures all over my house, family going up the staircase, crosstich things I have done and some that were given to me.
Miss you sooooooooooooooooooo much. Hope you get a computer soon. Love, prayer and ((((hugs))).
A beautiful post ~ I chose the last one, but I like the others above it. It was 70 degrees here yesterday, but cold today. I am looking so forward to Spring. So far our winter has not been real cold. :) I don't think it will be long til Spring. I hope you are well, my friend. I miss you very much. Love, Hugs and Prayere ~
ReplyDeletePeggy, I kinda like that you're keeping your *Christmas* theme going! It's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI picked the right picture for you! YAY! Somehow I just knew that you would pick the picture with the peaceful cabin and the two precious deer. I'm picking the one to the left of yours (bottom row, middle). It reminds me of a scene that I saw just last week in the mountains. And it goes along with my BPE of this week - that God is like a tree.
Strong, immovable - a sentinel that guards my mind, my heart, and my soul.
Miss you - love you much.
GOD BLESS!
