Here's why: On 1/24 my COMPUTER CRASHED, so I'm unable to SIGN IN to it, it's frozen. I don't know what's wrong or for how long. I try to check what I can from a public cyber but can't do that daily or for hours like I'm use to doing, so I'm very limited in what I can get done. Think God's trying to tell me some thing? Less time online? I'm sure I'll need a new computer rather than repair this here but don't see that happening here in these next 2 yrs. before I'm back home in USA. I'll be thinking and praying for you! Love y'all, pray and please don't forget me. God bless!

WOW ~ Wendy On Weds.

Here's something "new" I plan to do for the next 4 weeks in place of WOW or maybe along with WOW because I really believe so strongly in prayer and preparing our hearts during the season of Lent (these 40 days)... as I am doing and have plenty of time to do. It's a matter of my heart and a passion, I developed back at the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s, which makes prayer as necessary for me as breathing.

I found out that Wendy Blight (a WOW woman from Proverbs 31) had an excellent Prayer Study last year at this time and it will work well for the 4 Weds. in March to focus on "Cultivating a Heart of Prayer" ... oh how I delight in Wendy's heart and teaching.

So for the next 4 weeks I will link to her blog but share the video here (but it's there also with a wonderful study with reflective questions, prayers and a wonderful teaching by Wendy. I encourage you to sit before God and soak as you listen and talk with God in prayer, learning how to "cultivate a heart of prayer" and ABIDE with Him. [boxed prayer is from Wendy]

Heavenly Father, I know how often I fail to give You first priority. I allow the busyness in my life to push You aside. Yet, I also know how I long to be with You, to hear Your voice, and to know Your Presence. Will You reveal the places in my heart that keep me from hearing You speak? Make my heart tender to see my faults and my sins. Touch the places in my heart that are strangled by thorns, free them, and allow me to grow deeper in my relationship with You. Lord help me to be still and know that You are God. Give me a heart of worship. Please help me to truly KNOW how wide and high and deep and long is Your love. Father, I invite You this day to cultivate in me a heart of prayer. Fill me to the fullness of You. I love You, Lord, and thank You in advance for all You will do in my life as I open Your Word, study, and pray. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
