LOVE ~ 6

From last Fri.until Valentine's Day, I decided to do a 7 Day Bible Reading plan from YouVersion on LOVE. Actually, there was a variety given on topics related to LOVE but I have chosen to read the one provided by ABS (American Bible Society) "Uncover the Word". Call me a little sentimental or alot, when it comes to LOVE and God.

And I'm sharing this LOVE with you, of God's Word in ...

Each day, ABS has this format for us to follow as we read:

Pray:  God, connect with me here, as I seek You in Your Word.  Begin with focus and openness to see what God has for you. Read: the selected section of Scripture slowly. Take note of intriguing words and phrases and read them a second time. Reflect: on what strikes you as you read. Think through what God is communicating to you at this point in your life. Respond: to the passage. Speak to God directly about what's on your mind and heart. Look for ways to live out what you've uncovered.

Can you believe that this is already ASH WEDS.? Well, I can't ... wow, time  sure is flying by these days ... so,
I'm starting a different kind of Bible Reading Plan for 2013 Lent. I found 3 different ones at YouVersion and did not choose any of them, because I had started this one on LOVE and another one on PEACE, and I just didn't feel right about any of the Lent 3 so then I found this one for "40 days in the Word", with Rick Warren and Saddleback Church. Couldn't wait to start it, although it will overlay ... with another special plan I have for March. Oh, well.
I will pick these "40 Days ..." up again after those "31 Days ... " I guess.

I'm going to  DWELL in Christ's Word for the  next  40 days and beyond.

40 Days in the Word is a church wide weekly study of six principles of the Word of God. maybe I should have done the one called "40 days of LOVE" since I did these 7 days ending tomorrow VALENTINE'S DAY

Although I already signed up to do "40 days in the Word", I am leaning towards this one on LOVE... hmmmmmm. Praying God helps me to choose and LOVE whichever one I choose to follow. I guess since I started February in LOVE... love makes some sense, but then again, since I purpose to be in God's Word, the other one does. See how my mind wavers and works. The LOVE one reminds me of the "LOVE DARE" from the "Fireproof" Movie (do you remember when I tried that one here, too?) plus it connects to my next book review coming soon (meaning within the next week) "The Respect Dare" but I already shared some back here. Oh Lord, Help me ... 
I really have enjoyed Rick Warren's teachings that I've done in the past, "Healthy Choices" and "Purpose Driven Life", they have various ones done on 40 days ... perhaps you may have some input on which one you'd like ... or think I should do ...
"40 Days in The Word or 40 Days in Love ... "??? Well, Love is in the Word, living the Word makes me want to love more and better like Jesus ... I really am committed to "LOVE THE WORD, LEARN THE WORD, and LIVE THE WORD" in 2013!    VOTE

May God's Love fill you up completely (it's much better than chocolates or even flowers, it's real and genuine, lasting and filling, give Him a real try and let the Life Giver pour His Life on you!)
