"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."~from ISAIAH 61 Bible verse for this Blog

APOLOGY to READERS who followed a SEARCH to HERE & didn't find it

On July 18, 2017, I drafted almost 3000 blog posts that I had published since 2008 when I began blogging, rather than edit each one. So if you clicked here from somewhere else and ended up with the post unavailable or error, I am sorry but this is why. It'd be too much work for me to go back and fix them. There's an explanation on 7/19/17 as I'm still learning.

Untangling Prayer

Rachel and Isaiah 61

{this looks like it goes with day 19}

In my last post, I revised

just to add (and edit again) my image

that I created for the 1st week to

REMEMBER WHO GOD IS

{kinda wished I had saved it for this blog post,
but maybe I will do one for this past week}

AND HERE IT IS
FOR THIS PAST WEEK 2
{a day ahead}

because the

 Battle Belongs to the Lord

STILL

[every single battle, struggle, situation]

Look for these
ON THE ROCKS

Day 8 — When failure haunts:
remember the Light and rise.

Micah 7:8

Day 9 — When wounds reopen:
remember the Healer.

Isaiah 53:5

Day 10 — When strength fails:
receive His strength and rest in His portion.

Psalm 73:26

Day 11 — When doubt creeps in:
anchor in His unchanging character.

James 1:6

Day 12 — When hope feels lost:
remember the God of hope.

Romans 15:13

Day 13 — When anxiety takes over:
receive His consolation and rest in His presence.

Psalm 94:19

Day 14 — When you feel unworthy:
rest secure in His unfailing love.

Isaiah 54:10

REMEMBERING 9/11

on this 25th Anniversary of this horrific tragedy

WE WILL NEVER FORGET

and I hold ALL in my prayers
who still feel the weight
of that day

We remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who ran toward danger,
and hold close the families who carried/carry the unimaginable.
🙏

Also wishing someone special a

Heavenly Happy Birthday

CARRY ME, LORD ... as I ... Trust (Your) Heart (Revised)

[image credit: mine - gpt & me]

I came across some beautiful images that
I've made but not shared here yet as

I am doing Rachel's book daily
right now in September

and this seems to meet me
exactly where I am at today

so this is why on the 6th of September
 I needed this image
with this prayer
that I think was done back in June,
before I began her book

{and this is only day 6}

WHEN THE ENEMY WHISPERS LIES
 the devotion in Rachel's book
for this 6th day

{need I say more}

I will

-with this-

[image credit: mine - gpt & me]

I wish I could share every day with you
from Rachel's book
because

When I cannot sense Him,
I can still trust what He has said/written

REMEMBERING WHO GOD IS

is the main point

not how we may feel

or our current circumstance(s)

“Help me trust Your character over my emotions, LORD.”

These are my KEY points so far as

I'm relying on

            Remembering God's Character:

Day 1 — When overwhelmed: call.
Psalm 116:3-4
Day 2 — When afraid: seek.
Psalm 34:4
Day 3 — When you forget:
remember and return.
Jonah 2:7
Day 4 — When exhausted:
release and rest.
Deuteronomy 20:4
Day 5 — When uncertain:
ask for wisdom.
James 1:5
Day 6 — When lies come:
raise the shield of truth.
Ephesians 6:16
Day 7 — When God feels far away:
trust His presence.
Deuteronomy 31:6

When His Presence becomes our confidence,

the enemy (fear, worry, etc) loses its voice.

[image credit: mine - gpt & me]

I thought that there was a song
connected to the day 7 point
                to Trust His Presence ...
 His Promise of His Presence
but the song I am thinking of is

"Trust His Heart"

Babbie Mason

“God is too wise to be mistaken / God is too good to be unkind / So when you don't understand / When don't see His plan / When you can't trace His hand /
Trust His Heart”

This is where I turn my heart each day!
