At the end of each chapter in the book, there are a few questions or suggestions to consider and journal. Ann Voskamp writes the Forward followed by the Introduction from Rebekah of why and how she chose to write this book; clearly based in Galatians, the letter written on freedom - our freedom in Christ Jesus. 

This book is somewhat a continuation of my indecision last year (2016) between "BE" and "CHANGE" as my One Word that God seemed to be speaking to me - I guess He still is, especially in this year with my new One Word as "Healing" ... however, I'm sure that God is confirming my need to BE who I already AM ... HIS! {looks like I'm not just "Finding I AM..." (previous P31 book OBS study and my FRI. feature now) of who God is, but also who I am and accepting me with all my weaknesses, failures and limitations} Looking forward to all God is doing and will continue to do and change in me, but mostly my desire to BE FREE!

FRIDAY'S "Finding I AM ..."

This is more than one of Lysa TerKeurst's books or great teachings from another OBS; it's a weekly - no, daily search of "finding" and "knowing" the Great "I AM" so although the Online Bible Study (OBS) with Proverbs 31 of this book by Lysa TerKeurst: "Finding I AM ... How Jesus Fully Satisfies The Cry of Your Heart"  ... is finished; I continue on with "Finding I AM ..." on my Fridays offline, seeking God and all/any of His Attributes - who GOD IS and who I am in Him, our relationship - our connection, how I am finding Him to BE all that HE IS ... now and forever, unchanging ... "the same - yesterday, today and forever" Hebrews 13:8


Reading this book and doing this study has re-launched me back into rediscovering what I have done often on this blog and clearly in my life search as I draw closer and hope to connect better with GOD ... and revitalized my Fridays

I mentioned in Weds. WOW post that I may be sharing or adding one of my emails that whisper to me this week as they do twice each week ... but I didn't then so I am today because this is the WHO I am Finding I AM to be, as ...

WOW ~ Renewal, Love, Healing

I knew this day was coming ... maybe you did too ... when my WOW would not happen, not because I didn't want to take a Walk On Weds., not because I wasn't in His Word On Weds., not even because I didn't hear a Whisper On Weds. (because both emails from LOOP and The Passion Translation (TPT) were Wonderful!-the ones I usually choose to share- in fact I might even have to add one of them) but simply, I have no WOW ready for today because I've come to a standstill ... and this beautiful song from a new app and email from First 15 for this week where we seem to be pausing or passing through different "renewals": God's Plan for Renewal, renewal of your mind, renewal of your first love, renewal of joy, (yet to come) renewal of purpose, renewal of conscience, renewal of perspective (really a good week of "renewal" so appropriate for this season {First 15 and First 5 are my new favs}... yet perhaps this may be why too, I am in an adjustment period with my hearing aides for the past 3 weeks - a new transition for me, so I'm pausing to listen and linger like in this video of this song {imagine me, or even you, or better yet - me with you in this place of "renewal" ... and healing}

Father, you can heal us in a heartbeat. We pray for Your miraculous healing today. From depression, life-long disease, sudden failures, addictions and massive handicaps. We pray for miraculous healing because we know you are as capable of fixing our physicality as you are to hold the oceans in place as the earth spins around. Through Your Son’s death on the cross, we have the opportunity to be healed spiritually. By believing in Jesus we are connected straight to You in prayer and presence. Bless our hearts to believe in You beyond our heart’s capacity. Strengthen our faith where it is weak and strengthen our resolve to linger in Your presence a little longer each day. 
Take our pain away, according to Your will, in Your time. We’re not promised a painless life on this earth, but You do want us to live a happy one. Send Your Spirit to help us see past our circumstances and onto Your calling on our lives. Sickness and injury can’t stop God-placed dreams. WOW ~ the Heart of the Matter

I almost did not take (do) a Walk On Weds. for today because once again I could not choose nor did I find any "daily walk" that really seemed like a "Whisper On Weds." that we might need ...

The Daily Walk Bible NLT (Daily Walk: Full Size) by [Tyndale]

... then I received a great deal on "Finding God in the Ruins: How God Redeems Pain" by Matt Bays and I rediscovered the NLT Bible above with a 31 Day Plan with Jesus, which reawakened me seeking "how to get the most out of" my daily walks ... and so I began a new encounter with this "walk" and decided to reread my emails more closely from Jennifer Camp (LOOP) and Brian Simmons (The Passion Translation) from where I often choose one of these two for my "whispers" on these "walks" because their emails touch me or speak to me, so I decided to share them both because the "whispers" go together (sharing them in the order I received them)- may they whisper to your heart from God's:

"When What You Believe is True, Isn’t" by Jennifer Camp

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour—1 Peter 5:8

"Come back to Me. You don’t have to feel far away. You don’t have to believe you are disappointing Me.

"The light of My love"

"Set your heart on Me. When you see something inside your soul that you lack, focus on Me. I am to be the center on which your life turns. When your eyes are fixed on Me, the supply of My Spirit flows into you. My love for you is like a rising tide, You never need to "try" to love someone, My love is sufficient for you and for them. The glory-flow of My love will be enough for you and enough to give to others. Set your heart on Me, and not the petty offenses that come between you and another. My love will erase and cover a multitude of sins. When My Spirit fills you every other thing is swept away and forgotten. This is how My persecuted ones endure -- for they set their focus on My love.

The shining of My love upon you is the Light that guides, warms, nourishes, and strengthens. Turn your heart to the Light of My love and I will pull the "weeds" from your garden that hinder our fruit from coming forth. When you turn to Me I will accomplish what all your strivings have not-- I will change you from the inside out. I am patient and kind, and there is so much more compassion in My heart toward you than you have realized. You are not a disappointment to Me, but a delight!

Remember the price I paid to purchase your soul. I have given My Son, My Treasure, My Holy Spirit, and My Heart for you. When you feel that I am distant, bathe your heart once again in My love and push aside the lies that would deceive you. I know you, I understand the moving of your heart, and I know every word you will speak before you even start a sentence. The pleasure I find in you is not because of your "works," but because of your love. Having never seen Me, yet you love Me. I will never leave you or diminish the strength of My love toward you.

WOW ~ "Beloved, I am your True Identity"

On my Walk On Weds. I hear this Whisper On Weds. coming from many different wind directions; words of others, emails and studies, so as I often find myself leaning in to hear His Whisper ... right now, I just have to choose which one to share from the many sources sharing on "brokenness and healing" and being "redeemed" ... today's is from the *2nd volume (#16) by Brian Simmons and the images from TPT and Rick Warren, but this whisper goes well with Love God Greatly's (LGG) new study that started this past Mon. "Broken and Redeemed"

{I do hope I haven't shared this already, I looked but didn't find it - however, I did find some other "blogs" from 2009 that I did from the Father's Love Letters on "brokenness" that were interesting to go back and read - and to think that at the end of that year, I faced yet another "broken" time of grief and even more loss since then ... my apologies if I already shared this Whisper --- I ended up switching this, because the one I had was the extra one I posted last Weds.}


"I am your identity"

I guess I need this reminder even with the entire list below on my blog
