"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."~from ISAIAH 61 Bible verse for this Blog

APOLOGY to READERS who followed a SEARCH to HERE & didn't find it

On July 18, 2017, I drafted almost 3000 blog posts that I had published since 2008 when I began blogging, rather than edit each one. So if you clicked here from somewhere else and ended up with the post unavailable or error, I am sorry but this is why. It'd be too much work for me to go back and fix them. There's an explanation on 7/19/17 as I'm still learning.

For Such A Time as This!

Tomorrow's

PALM SUNDAY

already

the beginning of

HOLY WEEK

[credit image: The Chosen, Season 5]

PALM SUNDAY is the day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus, as the KING of all kings, into Jerusalem, where HE is hailed by the people with palm branches, waved by the crowd then laid on the ground to greet & honor Jesus Christ. The Only One, who deserves to be King!

<>

Today's

March 28th, 2026

 the third event of

RALLY

also

but there are more than 3,100 planned across

AMERICA

even a Virtual Event for those that are unable to go to one
4-6pm (EDT)

is a great local option
along with Status Coup/ MeidasTouch Network
on You Tube, etc.
[they work together]

There must be a cosmic reason (unplanned by humans) for these two events to collide on the same weekend, so that our focus goes from "no one human as a King" over America, to the day that we commemorate Jesus Christ, the true King, that shortly after His triumphal entrance, the people betray and shout out to "Crucify Him".

However, as coincidental, or God-incidence this might be, this is not the main purpose of my blogging today but this is such an IMPORTANT event and part of HIS STORY (History) too!

<><><>

The reason of this season (that is near ending with this HOLY WEEK) is or was the 40 days of LENT ... I was taught that Lent is a solemn time of preparation, repentance and spiritual renewal in the Christian church, the foundational one that I was raised in also maintained that it was a time to "give up" something. Yet the main pillars of Lent are Prayer, Almsgiving and Fasting. Often people "fast" other things besides food, candy, meals, soda drinks, etc. like social media (as I often do so as not to distract me from what truly matters, preparing the Way for Jesus Christ in every day of our lives, but especially as it leads to His Death by Crucifixion, Burial in a Tomb, and His Resurrection to redeem us, as a sacrificial Lamb - the reason why we purpose to "sacrifice" something by "giving it up" yet actually this time is meant to deepen our relationship through repentance (change) and reflection of and with Jesus Christ, drawing us eternally to God, the Father. In the life of a believer, it means renewal of our baptismal promises that many of us forget if we don't take the time to repeat each year & remind ourselves to change our direction, moving away from things that lead us away from God to living more godly lives, which to me means more compassion, caring for others - the oppressed, the poor, and the needy (almsgiving) - which is also the connection to today's event across America; as we reorient our lives toward God and Christ-like character and His way toward loving one another, caring for one another and giving to others.

This sacrificial time can also be a season when we lay down habits, hurts and hang-ups we have. Mid-way in Lent, I discovered yet another book to work into the plan I had already begun with You Version for March, 31 days of me "giving up" WORRY ... God clearly directed me to lay down my WORRY that kinda was part of my WEARY (weariness) and my problem, but before discovering said book, I never thought about this as what I need to lay down - give up.

Even though I was already working on the YV plan, I had never thought of this as what I need to focus on and hopefully get rid of in my life (if only it was that easy, to read, say and just do it) because truthfully if you've been stuck in this rut for as many years as I have, it will take more than LENT to break this habit and kick this vice to the curb (just like any other, it's a recovery process that you constantly need to work on and be aware of this) but as with others, the first step is to admit your problem. So "GIVE UP WORRY for LENT" will also refresh the Peace of Jesus Christ in my life and I will continue to pursue PEACE, which again is the reason for today and this impromptu blog post along with NO KINGS FLAGSHIP RALLY, to seek PEACE, not war, nor king, nor crown, no thrones, nor anything elevating themselves above the name of Jesus Christ, our King, our God ... who looks down upon us and wonders "how long?" just like we do.

I would love to share more about "giving up worry" but I have not been very successful with it yet. Plus I really want to get this posted in time so you don't miss out on Today's Events.

Perhaps I will return with my 31 days or more from my book, but for now - let's gather together and stand for one another and the right of peace and justice for all, who live in this world but especially in America, from North to South and this nation is only one part of this America.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Let's battle for the SOUL of our Nation!

Special Note: I do not think I need to say this, but I am NOT a white Christian Nationalist (WCN), although I am white (privileged) and Christian, because I believe in Jesus Christ, but because God gave each individual free-will, I believe it means that we each are given the choice & yet I hope to share the power and love of Jesus Christ, it is not up to me to force others (anyone) to choose the same and accept the gift of salvation made possible through Jesus Christ & by the Holy Spirit, I pray and hope that you may choose to receive eternal life, but that's up to you & your beliefs matter, your opinion counts yet we must not insist or push onto anyone, but show through our words and actions that difference Jesus makes, but those WCN do not love like Jesus, nor profess His teachings, nor live for the sake of honoring freedom, liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness for one & all, not based on certain criteria. Be open & listen to each other.

Blessings on St. Patrick's Day!

It's somewhat late in the day for wishing you or giving you a traditional Irish blessing for today.

but

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!

[image credit: Hugo from Canada Resists Substack]

... when I opened to Substack today and saw HUGO, I could not resist. And "Canada Resistswas kind enough to give me permission to share his photo with you, since he was my inspiration and motivational encouragement to finally share a blog post for the 1st one of 2026, which makes this #3501 so the "luck of the Irish" sent from Canada to Minnesota to you is no Blarney. He's a great featured guest to begin 2026!

If you're unfamiliar still with Substack, this is a good day to check it out and this is a really good place to start - with HUGO, because in this last week, he shared this: "Hugo's Take on Doomscrolling: 5 Signs Hoomans Need to Stop" (you know by now that this special dog and his "hooman" have a special place in my heart, and we don't even know each other) but this is a special place for me to go for support, for practical advice, & I love the humor. I am linking to two more from Canada Resists that I recently enjoyed: "Hugo's Top Five Ways to Find Calm" (but sadly you're unable to read these without subscribing, which I just went to check out the link - trust me, you can use your imagination & I'm sure you understand why I enjoy this) ... the other one is the same and was the first Substack article written & now reposted a year later; "Alliances ... We Need Alliances".

Another one that caught my attention in November last year was "Are You a Lost Canadian? ..." because even though my ancestry includes being a quarter IRISH, I am also a quarter French Canadian (from my French speaking grandpa, I hardly knew & met just once when I was 4 years old). Anyways, having your posts for "subscribers" gives you a bit more freedom to share openly your thoughts - somewhat like "blogger" made available at one time too. Sorry, I was not able to connect you. But the most recent article, March 16th is available to read on "Relationships ..." (and that is what you are to me Readers, whether we ever met in person or not, through our interactions and encouragements here on my blog, or yours (when you blogged or comment) we connect & built relationship. So I thank you & want to introduce you to HUGO, because our BELLA would never take a photo like this, yet canines & hoomans form a bond & relationship like no other. Thankful for every single one!

<><><>

As you can see I have waited quite a while to begin 2026 on my blog as I debated with myself about whether I would continue to blog or end with that 3500th blog post of 2025 (not all are available anymore) but I still have them in "drafts" if you can't visibly see them, that's where they are.

I waited also so I might share my 2026 One Word, which I usually confirm that first month of time spent away in prayer yet I still am unsure. So this will not be a revelation of that 2026 One Word, although after finishing 6 more weeks in the book study of "The GREAT Morning Revolution", I thought that I might have decided on one, but I still was not ready to write that this was my 2026 One Word. I thought that when a church online chose "FORWARD" that this might be a good word for me as I restart my life going "forward" from 2025 but I sensed that God & I perhaps were not on the same page and you can't go forward unless you resolve 70 previous years & where you're at ... and just turn the page to a new venture in the midst of so much turmoil going on. At this point, I will just continue into 2026, without mentioning any One Word - but know I do have some and I'm still waiting to share.

As I do, I would like to use this blog post to announce a new FaithGateway OBS starting on April 20th & invite you to join. I'm all ready & set to go. Or better said, it's about time that I RELAX like Jesus. {I do understand why the author uses "RELAXED" but I need it as a command to just "RELAX" - it fits/suits me better}

Even the book cover invites me to be

"RELAXED"

{this is so close to my consideration of
2026 One Word}

but the part before "Relaxed" is very important

"Letting Go of Self Reliance & Trusting God"

by

Megan Fate Marshman

{new to me}

the entire book & study is based on

Proverbs 3:5-6

which just so happens to be the

Verse(s) of the Day
today

With TRUST as my 2025 One Word
& admitting that too often,
I do lean on my own understandings,
so I will trust and submit to God alone
(not any human authority or otherwise)
because His Word declares that
"He will make my paths straight"
and my human heart belongs to Him
so that it remains humane to all creation

from

which alerted me early this morning
that today was the day
to consider "blogging" but than

HUGO

inspired me to read on

written by his hooman

and connect with both my own dog friend

BELLA

as well as my blog readers/friends/support

and not let it go as "underrated"

because we all need to invest &
support one another

[maybe we should all go to Canada]

The image above is not the traditional Irish Blessing that I know below:

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand".

"Puisse la route s'élever pour te rencontrer. Puisse le vent être toujours dans ton dos"

Thanks HUGO and Canada Resists!

and also any of my dear readers
(if you're still around)
bless me with a hello,
or your 2026 One Word,
or whatever you'd like to share!

Welcome All
to
2026

3/19 Update: Here's a new Canada Resists Substack post that hopefully you can read:

and if I could ask you for good thoughts, or prayers for our 4 yr. old

BELLA

[she needed an unexpected procedure this Thursday & needed to be sedated]

truthfully, it's probably me, the hooman
that needs this the most

because she's having a groggy recovery

{and the last time I had a dog sedated (but for a surgeryshe died within a month afterwards}.

🙏
Thank you!

3/22 update: Bella is back to her regular self  "barking at everything outside"

Alert to what every sound is happening.

Hopefully, it means she's well & will pass the one month
mark the same.

ADVENT-ure of TRUST and LOVE

I can't believe that this ADVENT-ure is already over and tonight we light the 4th candle of Advent, representing LOVE. All of the days of anticipation and preparation (as we read & continue through reflections) for this 2025 Advent season draw us together in CELEBRATION of the LOVE of Jesus, given to us by the Father and His Indescribable LOVE that we celebrate as the year draws to a close. {I can't believe how quickly this year has passed and also how slow - that hardly makes sense, but for me, that's how it is and has been}. But LOVE and TRUST or TRUST and LOVE, no matter how you look at these two, they are deeply intertwined, yet very distinct.

TRUST is definitely crucial for LOVE. TRUST, as you must know by now, is the foundation ... and especially of emotional security. Yet, I read that one can LOVE and at the same time distrust. With TRUST, LOVE becomes stronger but without TRUST, LOVE is fragile, full of fear and doubt. I believe that the strain inevitably breaks the healthiness of the relationship and can be the ultimate demise of the LOVE when the component of TRUST is missing and not achieved. LOVE is powerful but TRUST is what keeps LOVE alive.

That quote unknown to me, might have been the error in my personal experience with TRUST and LOVE, because I trusted fully that love {but this is not the time to share the details of that personal part} just trust me. However, this led me through a lifetime of many downfalls and pits, leading me through too many detours and not many fruitful ones, but many lessons on LOVE and TRUST learned keep me extremely cautious in TRUSTing people; and not really knowing how to LOVE, like the LOVE Jesus asks of us - "to LOVE one another" - [it would have served me better to hold on to what the Bible says as in 1 Corinthians 13 {but at that time I was not familiar with reading to study the Bible}] I fear I do not live up to 1 Corinthians 13 LOVE - (perhaps phileo kind of LOVE, which is brotherly love for each other - not really all that Jesus hoped for, because we are expected to reach for agape LOVE for all; far too many of us get caught off-guard with eros, and not many begin with healthy storge love) so we miss the mark in establishing the proper boundaries and qualities of each level and the distinction between them. C.S. Lewis does a much better and thorough job in one of his books "Four Types of Love"[here's a brief summary of that book] and certainly his books of "The Chronicles of Narnia" explore LOVE and TRUST among the characters.

"Trust and Love in Narnia, centered around Aslan, teach that true faith means loving and obeying him even when unseen, leading to courage and spiritual growth, while Aslan's sacrificial love (like Christ's) is fierce yet tender, demanding action and humility, and revealing profound connections for those who believe, especially Lucy. Characters like Lucy, Caspian, and the Beavers demonstrate active trust, often choosing to follow Aslan despite others' disbelief, finding strength and purpose through that deep, personal bond, ultimately renewing Narnia and themselves."

"Childlike Faith & Devotion (Lucy): Lucy's intimate, unwavering love for Aslan allows her to see him when others can't, embodying a deep, personal relationship that others long for, finding strength and validation in his presence."

"Sacrificial Love (Aslan): Aslan's love is powerful, sometimes severe, yet endlessly compassionate (like Christ), forgiving sins (like unbelief) and protecting his people at immense cost, inspiring awe and reverence, not just comfort."

"Active Trust (Caspian, Puddleglum, Beavers): Characters demonstrate faith by acting on Aslan's words even in doubt, trusting prophecy, and waiting actively, like Caspian believing in Aslan as king or the Beavers waiting for the Sons of Adam."

"Courage from Love: Lucy's devotion transforms her into "Lucy the Valiant," showing how love for Aslan empowers bravery, as seen when she embraces his mane for strength and faces challenges."

I cannot possibly write about any of my ADVENT-ure in

LOVE and TRUST

but by reading this book;
and looking closely into my life since my teens,
I do know that God was showing me much
from Aslan and Lucy

While reading the last few readings of
"Jesus Lives"
I read
TRUST
at the top of the page, so I knew
Jesus desired for me
to read & share
some
{although I'd love for you to be able to read
all of p.350 & 351 by Sarah Young}
It begins:

"I am an awesome God!
Who but I could be everywhere at every time,
ceaselessly working on your behalf?
It amazes you that One so great as I
would care about the many details
of your life. Yet I do! ...
Knowing Me is
so much more than an activity of the mind.
It is largely a matter of trusting. ...
No matter what is happening, trusting Me and
drawing close to Me are your best strategies for
living well."
(Psalm 16:8; Ephesians 3:16-19; Hebrews 13:5)
